Thanksgiving day has a full slate of NFL games, kicking off at noon CT with the Green Bay Packers versus the Detroit Lions.
But you won’t see the Tennessee Titans on television on Thanksgiving. In fact, the Titans playing on turkey day is a rarity.
Here is what you need to know:
When have the Tennessee Titans played on Thanksgiving?
- The Titans have played just once on Thanksgiving on Nov. 27, 2008 when they destroyed the Detroit Lions 47-10 in one of the worst NFL games played on Thanksgiving. Detroit went on to become the first NFL team to go 0-16 that year.
- However, the Tennessee Oilers also played in 1997, during the one season they were in Memphis. The Tennessee Oilers defeated the host Dallas Cowboys 27-14 on Nov. 27, 1997 on Thanksgiving.
- When the team was still in Houston, they went 3-2 playing on Thanksgiving bringing their overall record to 5-2.

There are three games set to be played on Thanksgiving:
- Packers at Lions (noon, CT)
- Chiefs at Cowboys (3:30 p.m. CT)
- Bengals at Ravens (7:20 p.m. CT)

- The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions Rams air on FOX at noon CT on Nov. 27.
- The Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys air on CBS at 3:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 27, 2025.
- The Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens air on NBC at 8:20 p.m. CT on Nov. 27, 2025.

The Tennessee Titans (1-10) host the Jacksonville Jaguars (7-4) on Sunday, Nov. 30 (noon CT, CBS) at Nissan Stadium in Week 13. The Titans have lost six straight games, including five under interim coach Mike McCoy.
