PICKERINGTON, Ohio (WSYX) — People in Pickerington are buzzing after a bright fireball streaked across the night sky — and one homeowner caught the moment on camera.
Kristofer Maki’s doorbell camera recorded the fiery object around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. The camera, which faces northeast, shows a bright fireball flashing across the sky before disappearing. A loud boom can also be heard on the recording.
Dozens posted on social media in Pickerington to report seeing the flash and hearing the loud sound.
