Should these players stay or be dealt before the deadline?
USA TODAY Sports’ Joe Rivera and Chirs Bumbaca break down which players might be traded before the 2025 NFL trade deadline on November 4th.
For the first time in several weeks, the NFL’s Sunday afternoon slate will feature more than 10 games.
There are no international games in NFL Week 9, while just four teams are on bye compared to the six who were off during “Byemageddon” in Week 8. Sure, NFL fans may miss getting a chance to watch the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their absence, but there will still be plenty of top-tier teams in action on Sunday.
This week, CBS will get to broadcast six of the 11 Sunday games while Fox will get the rights to five. CBS is taking advantage of its ability to broadcast games in both the early- and late-afternoon windows by turning its Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs game into a nationally televised contest.
While the Bills-Chiefs game will be the main draw of CBS’ coverage, Fox figures to feature the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings game in its early window.
Here’s a look at which games will be broadcast in each area of the country during Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season.
